Is NDC for Me?
If you love dentistry and have a passion to make a difference and serve others, NDC's culture and philosophy will fit like a glove. An insatiable desire to continue to learn, think "outside" the box and always be open to new and innovative approaches to dentistry are key points in an associates success at NDC. NDC thinks "big" and expects its associates to be leaders in the success of the corporation. What variety of dentistry will I be able to practice?
NDC focuses on the practice of "general" dentistry and doing "whatever" it takes to meet the needs of the patient. NDC chooses not to specialize and expects its associates to be dentists who can perform a wide variety of dentistry to ensure that patients are cared for within the practice. NDC expects its associates to develop a proficiency in molar endo and to perform about 80% of 1st and 2nd molar cases, use rotary instruments and learn and/or enhance skills in endo retreats. Crown and bridge, full mouth reconstructions, extractions and prosthdontics are also done by our general dentists. Having a large "tool box" to be able to treat each unique patient is the standard of care at NDC!Does NDC accept HMO's, PPO's, Fee for Service?
NDC does not participate with HMO's or medicare. NDC does participate with PPO's such as BCBS, Delta Dental, United Concordia, MetLife, Aetna, Assurant and Cigna. NDC does maximize all patients' insurance regardless of the plan. Patients are required to pay up front or have firm financials in place before treatment is performed. What type of support do Associates have at NDC?
All NDC offices are staffed with Office Managers who are responsible for the administrative operation of the practice. Clinical staff to include chair-side assistants, hygiene assistants, hygienists, steri techs and front desk/treatment planning coordinators are carefully selected to ensure NDC's high quality of services are met. Corporate staff who specialize in the area of dental administration, information systems, finance, accounts receivable, human resources and marketing are on board to ensure all business areas are properly managed to ensure optimal success. Associates are expected to take care of the patients and work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation. How is an associate's success measured?
All new associates go through a 90-day probationary period. During that time, associates go through an extensive orientation and training program to ensure they understand the policies, procedures and NDC's standard of care. Associates must take ownership and responsibility to develop strong relationships with their patients, make themselves known in the communityand to do their part in attracting and retaining a consistent patient base. Are associates considered employees or contractors?
NDC associates are employees of the Corporation and are on contract. Applicable payroll taxes are deducted as appropriate. Is partnership an option?
NDC never closes the door to great opportunities. Associates must be able to prove themselves on the factory floor and demonstrate a consistent level of success to be considered for greater opportunities within the corporation. What is a typical work schedule for an associate?
Full-time associates are best suited based on business needs. NDC purposely differentiates itself to meet the needs of the patient. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., every Saturday from 9:00-5:00 and some offices are open on Sunday. Associates work 35 to 40 hours a week and must be flexible to work a combination of mornings, evenings and Saturdays. What is the average number of new patients?
NDC consistently sees 125 to 150 new patients per month. Our flagship office located in Waldorf Maryland sees 400+ new patients a month. How many associates are in each practice?
Most NDC offices have a maximum of (2) associates per office. Brand new offices open with (1) associate and quickly work up to (2) associates based on business need. Associates typically rotate work schedules with (1) associate working at a time. What does the future look like?
We are just in the beginning stages of something "big." NDC is "big picture" oriented and plans on having a dental school and training center in the future. Practices across the United States is our goal and the sky is the limit at NDC! We are continually interviewing passionate, talented and service oriented individuals who will join us on our journey to change the way dentistry is delivered in this country - one office at a time!
